Amazing Show~many smokin' hot Jams

One of the hottest, maybe the best lineup till John Kadlecik.

Joan Osborne is AMAZING, a female Pigpen, oh soooo sexy.
She'd often dance in front of one band member at a time and then coax jams out of them with her sultry movements-it was epic!

They really went for it- a long show, 12:30 or later it ended- great venue

A Monster of a Show LOVED it!

Looking back over a year and a half ago, this was an amazing show. They had just changed over Lupo's to make it more fan friendly and to make more room for all...Job well done! I remember dancing all the way down the aisle and back in one fluid motion, weaving & feeding off the others...When the crowd is in sync you know something is special...Thanks for the recording, highlight for me was Phil's Stagger Lee...guitar is masterful :)

I was at this show and the following night's and this was the better show to me. Both nights i was right against the stage, which in this venue is nice because you are pretty much level with the band.

Barry Sless on pedal steel has always been a treat to me, and pride of cucumonga and Hardest Part both show off his abilities in that department, the interplay between him and Larry was spectacular throughout

Morning Dew has to be one of my favorite versions, which im sure represents a bias, but i just remember getting so lost in this version at the show Joan brings a lot to this show, Morning dew, midnight hour and Next time you see me, were all a lot of fun! :)

i give this show 5 stars because its one of my fondest memories of this tour!

They just sound tired... I am in the middle of Dew right now which ends really nicely but overall the heights of this show are at the low end of the Trey or Warren shows.

I'm the pride of Cucamonga - Wow!! Talk about turning on a dime. Did Barry just ditch the Strat and jump into the chair to play pedal steel? How'd he do that? Amazing - I've never heard Pride live before and it's always been a favorite......sound is a little muddy and far away, but wtf.....

Great set and performance! Missed this show but saw the next night (which was also solid - hope to see it here soon). Larry has really stepped up his presence and playing. They were much tighter than the Boston show in Dec. As much as I enjoyed Chris Robinson's voice singing the standards, I think Rob and Joan have a better feel for the nuances and timing! The Beacon shows I've listened to rock as well - I can only imagine what Philly was like!

Belly here reporting from the old barn.This place is a Dump...Holes in the ceiling. paint peeling off the walls. It was once a classy old theater for the arts. I saw Joe Cocker there 7 years ago and it was a great show. Not a bad seat in the house.They have since transformed this place into a real seedy night club. I noted bamboo cages on each side of the club for dancing girls and very erotic posters in the mens johns for some kind of sex show that goes on there.But what a surprise to be there and see these guys play. My chin was on the stage. Just picture these guys playing at your favorite local bar.What a show !! Passenger kicked ass and Joan was in rare form. It was cold in there and they were all bundled up...After a few songs Joan stripped of a layer or two and really got into the music.Stagger Lee was surprisingly effective and Casey Jones was a nice surprise. Shakedown came out of nowhere from Unbroken Chain...Barry mounted the steel guitar during Chain and Shakedown was not expected,slow and bluesy but packed with energy, it rocked, and Joan was belting out the lyrics with great enthusiasm....Midnight Hour was also very tight...Joan commentig on sometimes she cant wait that long....Great vocals from Joan On Midnight Hour and Watchtower...But when the DEW showed its face, that was the clincher. Joan shined on this one and the whole band came together so sweetly. Barry played awesome all night, he definatly handles most of the lead guitar work in this band. Rob and Phil definately have a strong kinship and they are constantly checking in on each other throughout the show. I think Rob has the most energy of all of them. This lineup has definately improved and I was very pleased with what I saw. I still miss Warren and Jimmy but this lineup shined like the sun in Providence, the one in Rhode Island...

I have *got* to see these guys next time they come around. Holy Cow.

I hope Phil keeps this line up, they certainly have jelled well since I saw them 12/2/05. Every song is fresh and crackling with energy and the jamming is outta sight!!! The recording is a great audience cudos to the taper and Archive.org for being there and sharing! Wish I could have been there. I couldn't believe how well they played together. I've listened to the entire run from the Beacon on and this is HOT! I dare you to listen to this and not download!!!! I love Joan!!!!

i was at this show, and ever since it i've been waiting for it to appear on archive so i could listen to the magic
a phenomenal setlist, and phenomenal playing by everybody
good quality for an audience tape - lotsa crowd but its all good
i like that i can hear myself hooting at certain parts
i'm not gonna call it a must download, because i know that the rest of the shows of this tour have been pretty outstanding as well,
but if you're lookin for a perfect show, look no further
